Kathryn "Katie" Evadene Lee
Age 95, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday evening in Great Trail Care Center. She was born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late H. Arthur and Mary (Milner) Lee, and was a life resident. She was a 1935 graduate of Waynesburg High School and also a graduate of Canton Actual Business College. Evadene retired in 1979 from The Timken Co., after 36 years service, where she worked in the Payroll Dept. Evadene was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church where she taught a children's Sunday school class for many years. She was an over 50 year member of both Delta Chapter #539, Order of Eastern Star and McKinley Shrine#54 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Lee and his wife, Ellen Jane Lee. Survived by a niece, Joyce Lee, of North Canton; a nephew, Robert Lee and his wife, Mary, and their children, Betsy Lee (Nicholas Singer) and their son, a great-great-nephew, Xavier, and Andy (Karlotta) Postlewait, and their children, great-great-nieces and nephew, Evee, Karli, and Jax Postlewait. Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Stan Purdum officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
