June L. Williams,

Age 103, of East Sparta, passed away Sat., July 4, 2026. She was born June 9, 1923, in Salineville, OH, a daughter of the late John and Jessie (Pollard) Addison. June retired in 1984 from the Carl F. Wise Real Estate Agency after 26 years service where she was a Secretary. It was during this time that Mr. Wise was Chairman of the Stark County Republican Party and Mrs. Williams was part of the political scene that included Gov. James Rhodes and Congressman Frank Bow, among other political leaders. She was affiliated with the East Sparta Christian Church, Auxiliary of Isaac L. Kinney American Legion Post #244, and Veterans Motor Car Club of America. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Williams, and her sister, Pauline Reese. Survived by two sons, Paul “Red” (Myra) Williams and Larry (Ronda) Williams; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thur. at 1pm in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in East Sparta Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before the service, from 11am to 1pm, in the funeral home.
