Obituary

Josephine Nelisher Age 81, of Malvern, passed away Sunday evening in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bickmore, WV, a daughter of the late John and Myrtle Naylor Schoolcraft, resided in Canton since 1950, and Malvern since July 2005. Josephine was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and the Greater Beneficial Union. Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John P. Nelisher, on Dec. 20, 2010, a daughter, Dora Ploch, on March 16, 1982, daughter-in-law, Terri Nelisher, two sisters and one brother, Mary Ward, Gladys Huckoby, and Burton "Buck" Schoolcraft. Survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law, Diana and Michael McNutt, of Malvern, Sharon Kozee and her fiance, Jack Stayer, of Greentown, Lora and Charles Parker, of East Canton, Karen Gonda, of Massillon, and Joyce and Greg Triner, of Canton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles and Judy Kozee, of Canton, and Ronald Nelisher, of Mobile, AL; one sister, Jean Marcum, of St. Albans, WV; and 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wed. at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Randy L. Newcomer officiating. Interment in Beech Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call Wed. one hour before the service from 12-1 p.m.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Josephine's memory may be made to the Alliance Visiting Nurses Association & Hospice, 885 S.
