JOSEPH P. THOMAS,

Age 66 of Magnolia, passed away with his family by his side on Sun., Apr. 2, 2017.  He was born to the late William and Alice Thomas and was preceded in death by brothers William and Anthony and grandson Kyle. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty, and children, Julie (Steve), Melissa (John), and Joseph II (Maggie). He was the wonderful Grandfather of Corey, Stephenie, Joey, Clayton, Zackery, Tyler, Brandon, Christopher, Rebecca, Noa, Joseph III, and Emaline.  He was also the very proud Great Grandfather of Jaxson and Aria.  Also survived by sisters Mary (Russ) and Joan and brothers Chuck (Mary) and John (Rose), and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law that he loved dearly.  Joe retired from the Timken Co. after 34 years and he also served in the U.S. Army during the 1970s.  A Celebration of Life will be held Wed. at 5 p.m. in the Sandy Valley Estates Community Building, 11461 St. Rte. 800, Magnolia, OH 44643.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
