Joseph I.C. Blackburn,
Age 86, of Magnolia, passed away Sat., Apr. 4, 2026. He was born Aug. 31, 1939, in Canton, a son of the late Joseph and Leah (McNutt) Blackburn. Joseph served with the U.S Army and retired from Green Lines as a truck driver. Preceded in death by his sister, JoAnne Miller, and his brother, Quinton Blackburn. Survived by his wife, Shirley Blackburn; his daughters, Lisa (Loren) Gintz, and her children, Brenden (Ashley) Gintz and their son, Maverick, Treyton (Chloe Craig) Gintz, and Brittani (Kevin) Flory and their children Riley and Lucy; and Beth Moron-Villareal, and her children, Alec Blackburn, Jordan Hurtado, and Mayara, Miguel and Angel Moron-Villareal; five sisters, Margaret Miller, Helen Hall, Katherine McDaniel, Rose Wilson and Ruth Perry; and two brothers, David Blackburn and Daniel Blackburn. Services will be held Sat. at 2pm in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. Friends may call one hour before the service, from 1-2pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to: Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
