John J. Walker Age 81, of Caledonia, MI, formerly of Waynesburg, passed away Friday evening in Magnum Care Center in Hastings, MI. He was born in Alliance, a son of the late John S. and Grace (Page) Walker, resided in Waynesburg many years, moving to the Michigan area in 1972. John was a 1948 graduate of Minerva High School. He retired from Diebold, Inc., after 35 years service, where he was a bank equipment installer. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, JoAnne Walker, on April 22, 2004. Survived by two daughters, Deb Bartimus, of Hastings, MI, and Mary Squires, of Mansfield, OH; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dean and Nancy Walker, of Waynesburg, and Joe Walker, of La Jolla, CA; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Steven M. Smith officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
