John Miller, Jr.
Age 74, of Magnolia, passed away suddenly on March 7th while visiting in Florida. He was born in East Sparta, a son of the late John and Gladys Deal Miller, and had been a resident of the Magnolia area most of his life. John was a 1953 graduate of Magnolia High School. He was a retired millwright from Comco, and also worked at Hercules Engines and TRW. John was a Navy Veteran serving with the Seabees. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Miller; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth Robertson and her husband, William, of San Antonio, TX, and Susan Miller, of Lakewood; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Stephen Miller and his wife, Jocelyn, of Wadsworth, Paul Miller and his wife, Cathy, of Vienna, OH, and Dan Miller, of Orlando, FL; 12 grandchildren, Joshua, Athena, Alicia, Kayla, Jacob, and Chloe Miller, Brandi and Sean Stillman, Sarah, Eryn and Benjamin Baird, and Joseph Jeffries; five great-grandchildren; his aunt Rose Hein and her family; and many other cousins. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
