JOHN H. HOTHEM,

Age 74, of Dellroy, passed away Thur., Mar. 31, 2016.  Born in Sandyville, a son of the late Harry and Florence (Hackenbracht) Hothem.  John was a 1960 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, a 1965 graduate of the Ohio State University, and completed the Harvard Business Management Program.  He retired in 2003 from Summittville Tiles after 21 years service, as Vice President of Manufacturing; previously he had worked at U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. for 21 years.  Survived by his wife, Barbara Hothem, with whom he would have celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary on July 13th; one son, Jeffrey Hothem; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Carol Vaughn, and Marilyn and Richard Telenko; and two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Jon Hinton, and Debbie and Dan Gann.  A memorial service will be held Sun. at 3 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made to: Bethany Nursing Home, 626 34th St. NW, Canton, OH  44709.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
