Joe B. Shaw Age 50, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday evening at his sister Juanita's home in Rootstown. He was born in Canton, a son of the late Joseph and Edith Christy Shaw, and was a life resident of the Magnolia-East Sparta area. He was a 1977 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and also attended Stark State College. Joe was employed as a Color Service Technician for Fusion Ceramics, Inc. in Carrollton, for six years. He previously was employed by General Color, Inc. Joe was a member of Canton Musicians Local Union and enjoyed playing the drums with several other musicians. Survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan and Andrew Weber, and Juanita Shaw, all of Rootstown; four nephews and one niece, Michael, Matthew, and Mitchel Weber, and Dominic and Julia Ionno. A celebration of Joe's life will be held at his home, 10000 Valleydale St. SE, Magnolia, on Sat. from 1-6 p.m. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.
