Joan E. Aquino

age 80, of Magnolia, passed away Wed., June 21, 2023, in her home surrounded by her large loving family. She was born Dec. 9, 1942 in Canton, a daughter of the late Vernon and Elizabeth (Capone) Keck, and was a life resident of Waynesburg and Magnolia.  Joan was a 1960 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, and a member of St. James Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edmund "Eddie" Aquino, on Sept. 28, 2020, a son, Eddie Aquino, Jr., an infant daughter, Catherine, granddaughter, Paige Aquino, great-granddaughter Madison Barrick and a sister, Judy Murdock. Joan is survived by two daughters and three sons, Dominica Aquino, Denise (Joseph) Eltringham, Jim (Rhonda) Aquino, Thomas (Amy) Aquino, and Rinaldo (Angela) Aquino; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, Anthony (Kirby) Aquino, and their son, Maximus, Lauren (Bill Govan) Aquino, Dominick Aquino and his children, Aniyah and Sabastian, Meredith Conrad, Addison Conrad, Shannon (Eric) McQuaid, and their daughter, Payton, Megan Aquino, A.J. Aquino, Amber (Paul) Marion, and their daughter, Mia, Amanda (Brody) Toot, and their children, Jaylen, Canaan, and Odin, Amaris Eltringham and Brady Barrick and their children, Emma, Weston, and Owen, Vienna Baker, Bishop Baker, Marcel Baker and his children, Elijah, Seraphina, Desmond, and Josephine, Alec Aquino and his son, Grayson, Dylan Aquino, Isabel Aquino, Sophia Aquino, Harper Aquino, Brittany Gerber, and Brek (Susan ) Gerber; two sisters and one brother, Karen Koller, Janet Day, and Gene (Peggy) Keck.

A PRIVATE Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant.  Friends may call Monday 4-7 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
