Jo Anne Norris

Age 86, of Canton, passed away Sat., Feb. 25, 2023.  She was born Oct. 21, 1936 in Canton, a daughter of the late Wayne and Mabel (Owens) Dixon, and was a life resident, except for ten years in Hawaii and California, returning to Canton in 1965 with her husband, after his time in the Submarine Service.  Jo was a 1954 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and had been a Dental Assistant for Dr. Ridzen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Schleappi, Charlotte Scarry and Becky Martin.  Jo is survived by her husband, Glen R. Norris, with whom she would have celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary on April 7th, a daughter and son, Amy (Sean) O'Connor and Todd (Cynthia "Cynde") Norris, two granddaughters, Mackenzie Rae Norris and Taylor Ann Norris, a sister, Darlene Mulheim, and several nieces and nephews.
