JESSICA J. SPEARS,

Age 48, of Akron, passed away Sun., Jan. 20, 2019.  Born in Honolulu, HI, a daughter of the late Cathie (Moreland) Hiltbrand and Jacob (Annette) Hiltbrand.  Jessica was a 1988 graduate of Tusky Valley High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University.  She worked as an advocate at Cleveland Sight Center, and as a DJ for Rock Rage Radio.  Survived by four daughters, Alicia Cook, LaTisha (Brittney) Rutherford, Justine Spears, and Courtney Spears; three sisters, Josieanna (Ryan) Norris, Jennifer (Greg) Bonvechio, and Jackie (Mark) Parson; one brother, Jake (Kelli) Hiltbrand; and five grandchildren, James, Richard, Elizabeth, Daniel, and Gavin.  Jessica loved art and music and especially her family.  All welcome for visiting hours/ celebration of life (no service) with the family on Fri. from 3-6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Canton South Church of the Nazarene, 2701 Cleveland Ave. SW, Canton, OH  44707.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
