Jesse L. Gamble Age 74, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday morning in his home. He was born in New Cumberland, OH, a son of the late Loyd and Frances Plummer Gamble, and had been a Sandyville resident most of his life. Jesse was a 1952 graduate of East Sparta High School. He was retired from Great Lakes Energy in Waynesburg, after 18 years service, where he was a clerk/secretary. Previously he had worked at the U. S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta. Jesse had served as Clerk for Sandy Township in Tuscarawas County. He was a 50 year member of Dover Moose Lodge #707, and a member of Dover V.F.W. and the Sandy Valley Eagles #3228, which he served as Secretary for 26 years. He also was a member of District #17 F.O.E. PWP Club, and was a Past Officer for District #17 of the F.O.E. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Neading, on Aug. 7, 2001. Survived by his brother-in-law, Jerry Neading, of East Sparta; three nephews and their wives, Doug and Joni Neading, of East Sparta, Mark Neading, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Bruce and Vicki Neading, of Ravenna, OH. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Ruthann Bosley officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. The Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
