JENNINGS C. LAKE, Age 81, of Sandyville, passed away Sat. morning in Aultman Hospital. Born in Hacker Valley, WV, a son of the late Jennings and Mildred McCartney Lake, he had been a resident of the Canton and Sandyville area since 1951. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and retired in 1989 from LTV Steel Co. after 35 years service as a heater in the soaking pit. Preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Survived by his wife, Doris Lake, with whom he celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary on May 29th; two sons, Tim Lake, of Canton and Scott Lake, of Sandyville; four sisters and three brothers; and one granddaughter, Alexis Lake. Services will be conducted Tues at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Thomas Shank officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.
