Jeffrey S. Materna

Age 62, of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023.  He was born February 4, 1961 in Canton, a son of David Paul and Janice (Dolvin) Materna of Mineral City, and had been a New Philadelphia resident 20 years, previously residing in Florida.  Jeff was a 1979 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  He was a licensed electrician, and worked for many companies in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his brother, David Eric Materna.

A private service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Brett Hughes officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  The family wishes to give a special thank you to Aultman Hospice and Jeff's many friends.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
