Age 80, of East Sparta, passed away Sat., Nov. 25, 2023.  He was born May 16, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI, has resided in East Sparta two years, previously Sherrodsville, OH, and Savannah, GA, and wintering in Leesburg, FL.  Jeff was a field superintendent in heavy highway construction and later self-employed.  He had honorably served our country in the U. S. Air Force.  He was a member of AMVETS #1992 in Mt. Dora, FL.  Jeff enjoyed golf, and as his grandson Conner said, "Grandpa loved puttering around and overextending himself on some home project."

Jeff is survived by his wife, Laurie A. Davy, with whom he celebrated their 18th Wedding Anniversary on March 11th; two daughters and one son, Kim (Tim) Knezevich, Shannon (Craig) Mignogno, and Shawn (Alison) Davy, and one step-daughter, Sandie (Neil) Beavers; seven grandchildren, Collin Knezevich, Conner (Andie) Jones, Mason and Alex Davy, and Faith, Logan, and Willow Beavers.

According to his wishes there will be no services or visitation, but there will be a private Celebration of Life.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeff's memory may be made to either The Wounded Warrior Project, care of: www.woundedwarriorproject.org  or Asbury Memorial Church, 1008 E.
