Age 89, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat., Feb. 26, 2022.  She was born Nov. 3, 1932 in Salineville, OH, a daughter of the late Ralph and Josephine (Marraccine) Girone, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1951.  Jean was a 1950 graduate of Salineville High School.  She had been a longtime employee of Tozzi's Restaurant in Magnolia where she was a cook.  Jean was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Morges and the Woman's Club of the church.  She enjoyed riding the SARTA bus on Thursdays with her friends.  She had numerous longtime friends she liked to play bingo with and meet at McDonalds for lunch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Francis E. "Frank" Spadafora, on May 4, 2005, and a brother and sister, Albert Girone and Sandra Brown.  She is survived by loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, daughter Nancy (Wayne) Schneider, sons Michael (Cyndi) Spadafora and Joseph (Martha) Spadafora, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, Traci (Travis) Smith and their daughters, Madison (fiance Jay Norris), Gabriella, and Sophia, Tara (Chad) Armstrong and sons, Austin and Seth, Bethany (Alejandro) Aponte and son, Joaquin, Jenai (Chris) Smith and sons, Bradley, Ryan, and Tyler, Megan Spadafora (fiancé Michael Morris), Alex Spadafora (Shelby Clarke), Dominic (Kayle) Spadafora and son, Zayden, Rachel Spadafora, and Jenna (Jamion) Hartley, one sister, Gloria Lombardozzi, numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat., March 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morges with Fr. Jonas Shell as Celebrant.  Friends may call Sat. 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory may be made to either St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morges or St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg.  Condolences may be made to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
