Jean A. Diotale
Age 84, of Canton, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, in Altercare of Nobles Pond. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Eugene and Carmela (Teolis) Melpignano, and was a life resident. Jean was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Diotale, on Dec. 2, 1998, a brother and two sisters, Andrew Melpignano, Mary Boni and Rose Katich, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Melpignano, who died the day before Jean. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Tina Diotale, and Debbie and Robert Patterson, all of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Rudy and Barbara Diotale, of North Canton; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Mike Diacontonas, of North Canton; five grandchildren and one great-grandson, Robert (Jamie Wright), James Patterson, Megan Patterson and her son, Jeremiah, Joseph Patterson, and Jacob Patterson; several nieces and nephews including Mary Lou Boni, who was very faithful to her aunt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Keck as Celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
