Janice M. Pelger

Age 83, of Navarre, passed away Sat., March 6, 2021.  She was born Dec. 19, 1937 in Canton, a daughter of the late Lester and Velma (Wagner) George, Sr., and had resided in Navarre twenty years, previously Massillon thirty years.  Janice was a 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School.  She had worked for the American Greeting Card Company, and she and her sisters were caterers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Pelger, two sisters and two brothers, Betty McKnight, Geri McDonald, Kenneth and Lester George, Jr.  Janice is survived by her husband, William M. Pelger, with whom she would have celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on June 16th, one son, Michael (Kimberly) Pelger, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Allison (Michael) Susman, and their sons, Connor and Logan, and James (Marketa) Pelger, two brothers, Willard (Norma) George and Jay George, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Ron (Cheryl) Pelger and Don Pelger.  Due to Covid-19 there will be no services.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
