Janice (Huston)Arnold,

Age 85, of Canton, passed away on July 4th 2025.  She was June 14, 1940 in Massillon, a daughter of the late John and Mary Alice Huston.  She raised two sons, Dave and Doug who gave her 5 grandchildren. Adam and Abigail, Dave and Lisa's children and triplets Allison, Carson and Jocelyn, Doug and Misty's children.  In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her sister Joann Brenner and brother John Huston.

She retired from Citizens Bank (formerly First Federal) and had previously worked for the Stark County Auditor's office. In her retirement she was fastidious in her housekeeping and her flowers and plants around her home. Jan was known as the best baker of cowboy cookies in the world!  She was a wonderful wife to her husband Dick celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary on June 30th and always supported him in all family decisions.

Although she was somewhat shy in demeanor, she was always outwardly supportive of her sports teams, particularly the Jackson Polar Bears football team having season tickets for 40 years. Jan lived with her husband in Jackson Township all their married life with last 51years at Lake Cable.  All who knew Jan will miss her kind gentle demeanor.
