Janet C. Bell

Age 84, of Canton, passed away Sat., Nov. 6, 2021.  She was born Dec. 19, 1936 in Canton, a daughter of the late Elden and Lucy (Mallett) Smith, and was a life resident.  Janet attended Canton Township High School, but graduated from McKinley High School.  She was a member of First Church of The Resurrection.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James G. Bell, on June 28, 2011, a son, Ronald Bell in 1967, a sister, Martha Bell, and a brother, Ronald Smith.  Janet is survived by three sons, Keith (Carol) Bell, Jan Bell, and Joel Bell and Angela Bell, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Amy Rozko officiating.  Friends may call Thursday 5-7 p.m. and Friday 10-11 a.m. before the service.  Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's memory may be made to the First Church of The Resurrection, 901 E.
