James "JR" Sickels, Jr.

Age 63, of Mineral City, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, in the Cleveland Clinic.  He was born Nov. 30, 1958 in Dover, a son of the late James R. and Jenny (Atolla) Sickels, Sr., and had been a Mineral City resident all his life.  JR was a 1978 graduate of Tusky Valley High School.  He retired in 2007 from the U. S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta, where he was a robot tile picker.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Sickels, with whom he celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary on June 4th, two daughters and one son, Kathryn Sickels, Tammy Sickels, and her fiancé, Nick Campitelli, and Matthew (Elise) Sickels, two grandchildren, Temprence and Damon Sickels, one sister and one brother, Jean Murphy and Mike (Ruth) Sickels.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 22, 2022, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Roswell Pavilion. Covered dishes will be welcome and appreciated.
