James F. Robertson

Age 90, of Bolivar, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. He was born in Waynesburg, a son of the late James and Minnie (Westbrook) Robertson, and resided in Bolivar since 1978.  James retired in 1984 from Aultman Hospital where he worked in the maintenance department.  He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  James was a member of Fort Laurens American Legion Post #190 and the Bolivar Army-Navy Club.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Joyce E. Robertson, on Jan. 14, 2016, a brother, William Robertson, and step-sister, Mary Wilson.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Terry Kirker, of Sylvester, GA, his son, Jim Robertson, of Bolivar, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
