JAMES JENKINS, Age 30, of Canton, passed away Fri. evening in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. A life resident of Canton, he was a 2000 Graduate of McKinley High School. James had worked at Olive Garden, PJ's Fabricating, Shearer's Foods, Inc., and McCann Plastic. He was an avid softball player and sports fan. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Donna Locker and Donn Hinkle. Survived by his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Greg Vergara, of Sherrodsville, his father and stepmother, James and Janet Jenkins, of Canton; his grandmother, Helena Jenkins, one sister, Chanidy Jenkins, and one brother, Roderick Jenkins, all of Canton; one stepbrother, Kenny Hereford, of Massillon; two nieces, Shayla and Kyra; and numerous family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted Sat. at 3 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia with Pastor Mike Husted officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
