James A. Cordray

Age 53, of Canton, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2022.  He was born Feb. 3, 1969 in Massillon, a son of the late Robert L. Cordray, who passed away on March 8, 2008, and Carolyn (West) Cordray, of Malvern, and was a life resident of the Canton area.  Jimmy had been an employee of the Siffrin Bridge.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Robbie" Cordray, II, on Jan. 19, 2011.  Surviving besides his mother is his long-time committed companion of 18 years, Pam Eversole; a sister, Dawn (James) Hanlin; two nieces and three nephews, Nicole Hanlin, April Hanlin, Aaron Hanlin and Ryan Schmidt, James R. Hanlin, and James C. (Megan) Hanlin II; eight loving great-nieces and great-nephews, Ayden, Jayden, Lillian, Jaxson, Elliot, Lydia, Lainey, and Adalynn.

Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Beals officiating.  Friends may call one hour before the service on Thursday from 12-1 p.m.  Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.  The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Siffrin Staff for their love and care of Jimmy, especially "his brother" Bob Craig. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jimmy's memory may be made to Siffrin Inc., 3688 Dressler Rd.
