JAMES CAPPILLO,

Age 101, of Mineral City, passed away Oct. 19, 2014.  Born in Sandyville, a son of the late Joseph and Carmella Cappillo, Sr., he had been a life resident of the Mineral City area.  He was a member of Mineral City Church of the Nazarene and retired in 1976 from the U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta after 33 years service, where he was a kiln operator.  Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Opal Cappillo, on Mar. 20, 2002, and four brothers and two sisters, Joe, Jr., Henry, Louie, Mike, Louise, and Fannie.  Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and James Moore, of Strasburg, and Betty and Larry Hiller, of Sherrodsville; one son, Roy Cappillo, of Zoarville, one sister, Angie Denbow, of CA; and seven grandchildren, one great grandson, and two great-great grandchildren.  Services will be held Thur. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Mark Gross officiating.  Interment in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover.  There will be no calling hours.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
