James G. Bell
Age 78, of Canton, passed away Tuesday evening in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Uniontown, PA, a son of the late William and Valle Riley Bell, and had been a Canton resident since 1956. Jim was a 1950 graduate of South Union High School in Uniontown. He retired in 1997 from The Hoover Co., after 35 years service, where he was a Foreman. He was a member of First Church of The Resurrection. Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by a son, Ronald Bell, in 1967, and a brother, William Bell, in 2010. Survived by his wife, Janet C. Bell, with whom he would have celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary on August 10th; one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Donald Johnson, of Langley, WA; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Keith and Carol Bell, of Orrville, Jan Bell, of Carrollton, and Joel and Angie Bell, of Canton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patty Ebeling, and Leilonnie and James Mensinger, all of Sparks, NV; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Services will be held on Sat. at 10 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Bruce Mont officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Military Honors.
