JACK L. SCHLIMM,
Age 68, of Sandyville, passed away Mon. evening in his residence. Born in Canton, a son of the late George and Thelma Hill Schlimm, he had been a life resident of the East Sparta - Sandyville area. Jack retired in 2004 from M & B Operating Co. where he drove a pumper truck and inspected oil wells. He was a member of Sandy Valley Eagles #3228 and the Army-Navy Club in Bolivar. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Ronald and Richard Schlimm, and Betty Keeney. Survived by his daughter, Tiffany Kennedy and her friend, Justin Lance, and his grandson, Matthew Kennedy, who was the light of his life, all of Massillon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Norman Watson, of East Sparta, and Mary and David Winn, of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Norma Schlimm, of East Sparta; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Schlimm and Helen Schlimm, both of Strasburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. According to Jack's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Peggy Garner officiating.
