Iva J Irwin,

age 93, of Sandyville passed away December 22, 2025. She was born in Payden City, WV, a daughter of the late Henry and Layla (Kirkpatrick) Kirby. Iva a retired from the Timken Co. as an Inspector and had also worked at US Ceramic Tile. She enjoyed attending garage sales, auctions, and flea markets and listening to Split Fyre. Iva especially enjoyed spending time with her family and always put them first. Preceded in death by her husband Don Irwin in 2019. Survived by two sons Dalen Irwin and Daryl Irwin; one granddaughter who was her life, Susan (Kevin Spencer) Irwin; her two great granddaughters, Joelle Spencer and Raylynn Spencer; and special friends who were like her kids, Beth Boyd, Jane Turvey, Stephanie Little, Janice Spencer, and Greg Young.  A memorial service will be held Tues. at 7pm in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Mark Black and a very special person who was like her grandson, Pastor Jamie Spencer.  Friends may call one hour before the service, from 6-7pm, in the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
