Ira C. Campbell, Sr.

Age 89, of Ontario, OH, formerly Waynesburg, passed away Sat., July 15, 2023.  He was born June 15, 1934 in Louisville, and had been a Waynesburg resident many years. He was retired from TRW in Minerva. Ira was a member of New Life Church of God in Dover, and Honorably served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Joan M. Campbell, on Nov. 13, 2008, and a son, Ira C. Campbell, Jr. He is survived by two daughters and two sons, Tammy and Stanley Pullins, Virginia and Paul Snyder, Steven and Vivian Campbell, and Larry and Stacie Campbell; one sister, Hazel Newhouse; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in Liberty Cemetery in Oneida with Pastor Brett Hughes and Pastor Larry Gross officiating. There will be no calling hours.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
