Ida Mae Billheimer
Age 86, of Canton, passed away Sat. afternoon in the Laurels of Canton. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Frank and Faye Penrose Casper, and was a life resident. Ida Mae was a 1942 graduate of Lehman High School. She retired in 1984 from Canton City Schools, where she had been a secretary at McKinley High School. Previously she had worked at the Stark County Library. She was a member of the Lehman Alumni Association. Preceded in death by a stepson, Steven Billheimer, and a brother, Bill Casper. Survived by her husband, Harlo L. Billheimer, with whom she celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary on May 11th; her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Herbert Kling, of Canton; her son, Dennis Jackson, of Minneapolis, MN; a stepdaughter and her husband, Gail and James Yahn, of Columbus, OH; two stepsons, David Billheimer, of Canton, and Jon Billheimer, of Orlando, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Susan Casper, of Toledo; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey L. Shultz officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery following cremation. Friends may call one hour before the service on Wed. from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ida Mae's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
