Helen Maxine Mirling

Age 96, of North Canton, passed away Sat., Jan.9, 2021.  She was born August 24, 1924 in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Arno and Helen (Pfau) Rice, and was a life resident of East Sparta until moving to North Canton in 2011.  Maxine was a 1942 graduate of East Sparta High School and also a graduate of Canton Actual Business College.  She retired in 1969 from Hercules Engines, after 23 years in the office, and previously worked at The Timken Co.  She was a member of Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Church.  In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John Mirling, on August 4, 2009, and two brothers, Marvin and Clement Rice.  She is survived by nieces and nephews.  According to her wishes there will be no services.  Condolences may sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
