Helen M. (Anthony) Dombrowski

Age 89, of Zoarville, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016.  She was born in Zoarville, a daughter of the late Charles and Ella Mae (Frey) Anthony, and was a life resident.  Helen was a 1945 graduate of Dover High School.  She loved being a homemaker, but also babysat many children over the years.  Helen was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Zoarville and the Women's Group of the church, and also taught a Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Stanley M. Dombrowski, on Sept. 5, 2009, a son, Craig, on Aug. 16, 2012, and four sisters.  Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Janet and Stephen Gahn, of Lancaster, OH, and Amy Dombrowski, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Karen Dombrowski, of Pickerington, OH; eight grandchildren, Stanley (Lindsaye) Dombrowski II, Angela (Tim) Anderson, Allan Dombrowski, Michael (Amanda) Gahn, Rachel (Shaun) Brewin, Joseph Dombrowski, Jaclyn (Shaun) Cassidy, and Jared (Bethany) Dombrowski; 14 great-grandchildren and one soon to be born; one sister, Reatha Visnick and one brother, Charles (Carol) Anthony.  Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Good Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Brian Rossow officiating.  Interment will be in Zoar Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday 5-8 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Contributions in Helen's memory may be made to Community Hospice House, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663, or Good Hope Lutheran Church, 3359 New Zoarville Rd.
