Helen Richardson Clymer Age 98, a resident of Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar, passed away there Sat. evening. She was born in Sherrodsville, OH, a daughter of the late Sherman and Ida Smith Randal, and had been a Canton resident most of her life. Helen was a 1929 graduate of Sherrodsville High School. She was proud to receive her real estate license in her late 50's and was one of the original realtors for the former Boebinger Agency. Helen was an over 70- year member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church and its predecessor First EUB. Preceded in death by her first husband of 53 years, Joe A. Richardson I, on Sept. 26, 1988, her second husband, Merritt H. Clymer, in 2008, and nine brothers and sisters. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Cathy Robertson-Richardson, of Port Charlotte, FL; two grandsons, Joe A. Richardson II and his wife, Carol, of Harrison, OH, and Joshua A. Richardson, of Portsmouth, OH; two great-granddaughters, Abigail and Isabella; a step-daughter, Carolyn Buckridge and her husband, Ron, of Massillon; a sister, Ruth Roof, of North Canton; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Froelich, of North Canton, Arlene Richardson, of Canton, and Ursala Richardson, of North Canton. Services will be conducted Wed. at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Reese officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery in Louisville. Friends may call one hour before the service on Wed. In lieu of flowers, Helen suggested that family and friends remember her by contacting someone they have been thinking about, or by giving a big hug to someone they love.
