Hazel J. Printz Hazel Janetta Baumgartel Printz, age 98, passed away Sunday morning August 5, 2012 of congestive heart failure in Hospice Atlanta. She was born in Vanport, PA and lived her adult life in Canton, OH until moving to Atlanta in 2005 with her only daughter, Lou dell Ann Printz and son-in-law, Dennis Fowler. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Albert C. Printz in 1998, a brother Lutellus R. Baumgartel of Stuart, FL and the family siblings with whom she grew up in Ohio: Dorothy McClelland Miller of Pasadena, CA, Lois McClelland Johnson of Camarillo, CA and Eugene "Mac" McClelland of Lancaster, OH. She had been a member of Little Hill Church in Sewickley, PA where her parents are buried; Vanport Presbyterian in Vanport, PA where she was married; the former Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Canton, OH where she was a tireless worker and Stephen Minister and most recently Christ the King Lutheran in Norcross, GA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, nieces and nephews, five step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was the consummate teacher whether it was in the public school system; at various Sunday Schools or trying to make the world a better place for her being here. Memorial services were held in Atlanta Aug. 9 and in Ohio will be held Sat. Aug. 25 at 11 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2551- 55th Street NE, Canton, OH 44721.
