Hazel C. Longo

Age 98, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022.  She was born March 2, 1924 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Ralph and Amelia (Bomerato) Bitzel, and was a life resident.  Hazel was a 1942 graduate of Waynesburg High School.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy D. Longo, and three sisters, Gloria Bitzel, Mildred DeAngelo, and Evelyn Rondanella.  She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Ann Longo, one son and daughter-in-law, Patsy "Buster" and Theresa Longo; two grandchildren, Dena (Cory) Fisher and Joey Longo, and three great-grandchildren, Lily, Michael, and Ella Fisher; one sister, Betty (James) Castelucci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat., August 13, 2022, at 1 p.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant.  Friends may call Sat., August 13, 2022, from 10-12 Noon at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
