Harold E. Paul

Age 89, of Mineral City, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was born August 7, 1933 in Cedar Rapids, IA, a son of Henry and Irene Paul, resided in Mineral City since 2017, previously Florida most of his life. Harold was a 1952 graduate of Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids, IA, and also attended Jacksonville, FL Community College. He retired Sept. 23, 1974 from the U. S. Navy, where he was Chief Aviation Structural Mechanic, and then taught at the U. S. Naval Base in Jacksonville, retiring Sept. 1, 1981. Harold was a member of Carr-Bailey American Legion Post #519 in Mineral City.  He and Della traveled all over the United States (46 states) in their R.V., and enjoyed riding their Gold Wing motorcycle.

In addition to his parents. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche and Betty Lou.  Harold is survived by his wife, Della J. Paul, with whom he celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary on April 4th; three daughters, Beth (Ken) Kohler, and their sons, Matthew, Adam, and Luke, Cathie Reid, and her children, Brandy, Jamie, and Kelley, Dianne Locker; three sons, Jim (Donna) Locker, and their daughters, Kim and Amanda, Pat (Stephanie) Paul, and their children, Jordan and Ally, Mike (Juani) Paul, and their children, Javier, Francisco, Harley, Tiffany, and Tara; a sister, Lois; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services with full Military Honors will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
