Hallie Sue Ferrell

"Together Again"

Age 86, of Magnolia, passed away Wed., Oct. 23, 2024.  She was born Sept. 25, 1938 in Mineral City, a daughter of the late Paul Steinbaugh, step-father Adrian "Sam" and Blanche (Lechner) Archinal, and was a life resident of Mineral City and Magnolia.  Hallie Sue was a 1956 graduate of Mineral City High School.  She was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Kent Ferrell, on Dec. 10, 1989, two brothers and two sisters, Donald "Fred" Steinbaugh, Dr. Robert Steinbaugh, Rose Ann Williams, and Charlene Norris.  Hallie Sue is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin and Ruth Ferrell, and Kris (Fiancee Barb) Ferrell; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, Matthew (Angela) Ferrell, and children, Haley, Max, Quinn, and Roman, Klint (Sally) Ferrell, and their children, Konrad and Knox, Chad Ferrell, Kortney (Jared) Cox, and Katelyn (Justin) Hostetler, and their children, Axel and Emma.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Mark Gross officiating.  Friends may call Tuesday 10-11 a.m. before the service.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  Contributions in Hallie Sue's memory may be made to either East Sparta United Methodist Church or the American Juvenile Diabetes Association.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
