Gregory Paul Barress

Age 41, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018.  He was born July 15, 1976, in Canton, and was a life resident of this area.  Greg was a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School and had been employed 15 years at Aultman Hospital as a Sterile Processing Technician.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory G. Sprout, grandparents, Jay Sprout, Eugene Neumeyer, and Judson and Miriam Barress II.  He is survived by his wife, Brandy L. (Powell) Barress, whom he married July 21, 2014; one daughter, Rhiannon Costa; his parents, Judson and Paula (Neumeyer) Barress III; a sister and brother, Jennifer (Barress) Grisez  (Brent Bruckner), and Christopher J. (Melanie) Barress; grandmothers, Corrine Fulmer and Mary Neumeyer; Brandy's parents and brother, Charles E. and Schree Powell and Brock (Lisa) Powell; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Alan Kinnaird as Celebrant.  Friends may call Thursday 2-4 p.m. before the service.  In order that others may live Greg was an organ donor.  Please make contributions in Greg's memory to Lifebanc, 4775 Richmond Rd, Cleveland, OH 44128, or Paws and Prayers Pet Rescue, P.O.
