Gloria Marie Schweyer

Age 95, of Louisville, passed away Sunday May 13, 2018.  She was born Feb. 27, 1923 in Magnolia and resided in Canton many years until going to Louisville in 2014.  Gloria was a 1941 graduate of Magnolia High School.  She retired in 1992 from The Bank of Magnolia after over 50 years service where she was Executive Secretary for Richard Greer and John Greer.  Gloria was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Magnolia, a member of the Women's Temperance League, and served as a volunteer at Aultman Hospital for many years.  She enjoyed singing and sang at many weddings.  Besides her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her brothers Gerald, Wilson and Harland Schweyer.  She is survived by Gordon (Arlie) Schweyer, Sue (Paul) Guna-Richardson, Linda (Warner) Keeling, and Sandra Humes, nieces and nephews who were her brother Gerald's children and were her primary caregivers, other nieces and nephews who were children of her brothers Wilson and Harland, and also numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor J.
