Gene D. Johnson, Jr. Age 56, of Massillon, passed away Sat., May 5, 2012, in Affinity Medical Center. He was born in Chillicothe, OH, a son of Gene Johnson, Sr., of Magnolia and the late Shirley (Moore) Johnson. He was a 1973 graduate of Clear Fork High School. Gene worked with his wife and father at Gene's Crossroads Market, at the corner of State Routes 800 and 183 in Magnolia. He was a member of the NRA. Preceded in death by a son, Ivan Johnson, on Nov. 11, 2004. Surviving besides his father is his wife, Barbara M. Johnson, with whom he celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 22, 2011; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Gene "Aidan" Johnson and Dr. Jennifer Bohl, of Shaker Heights, OH; two grandsons, Bryce and Jack Johnson, and soon to be born Aidan and Jennifer's twin boy and girl.
