GAYNALEE E. GEORGE,

Age 83, passed away on September 21, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. Gay was born on April 27, 1931 in Wintersville, Ohio to the late Emma (Kuster) and D.F. Stonebraker.  She lived most of her life in Canton.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Rev. L. Mark George of Sebring, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lorraine George of North Canton, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Roger Blocher of Worthington, Ohio; and son and daughter-in-law Bryan and Amy George of Canton, Ohio.  She is also survived by five grandsons: Mark George and his wife, Heidi; Michael George and his wife, Jamie; Craig Blocher and his wife, Erin; Kyle Blocher, and Luke George; two granddaughters, Joelle George and Stacy George; and two great-grandchildren, Carter George and Makenzie George, as well as extended family members.  Gay was proceeded in death by her brother, Karl Stonebraker.  Gay will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong faith in God, her kindness towards others, and her keen intellect.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Scholarship Fund at the Church of the Lakes United Methodist Church, 5944 Fulton Drive NW, Canton, Ohio 44718.   Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Church of the Lakes.  A memorial service celebrating Gay's life will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 11 am at Church of the Lakes in Canton with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
