Gary L. Russell   1955 - 2017

Age 61, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.  He was born in Canton, a son of the late Robert and Lorraine (Neth) Russell, and was a life resident.  Gary had served in the U. S. Marine Corps.  He is survived by his former wife and the mother of his children, Barbara Kerr; one daughter, Sarah Russell and Chris Warth, of East Canton; two sons, Gary "Todd" Russell, of Hawaii, Bryan and Bekka Russell, of Salem, OH; two grandsons, Andrew and Trenton, and one soon to be born; one sister, Diane Midcap, of Canton; and two brothers, Charles Russell and Jeannette McLarty, of Pinehurst, NC, and David Russell, of Cleveland.  Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Fryman officiating.  Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
