Obituary

Garnet C. Henline

Age 88, of Sandyville, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016.  She was born in New Cumberland, OH, a daughter of the late Price and Gaynell (Burnul) Moore I, and had been a Sandyville resident 58 years.  Garnet was a 1945 graduate of Mineral City High School.  She was retired from The Timken Co. where she was a shipping clerk at the Gambrinus Plant.  Garnet was a member of Sandyville United Methodist Church and a 70 year member of Carroll Chapter #315, Order of Eastern Star.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Richard P. Moore II and Arlene McCarty.  She is survived by one daughter, Kim Henline, of Sandyville, and two sons, Jim (Tamara) Henline of Canton, and Tim Henline, of Sandyville.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Sandyville United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven M. Smith and Rev. Ruthann Bosley officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call Wed. 5-7 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia, and one hour before the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Garnet's memory may be made to Sandyville United Methodist Church, PO Box 7, Sandyville, OH 44671.  The family wishes to express their appreciation to Aultman Hospice and Compassionate Care for the love and care they gave to Garnet.  Condolences may be sent to: gordonfuneralhomes.com
