Gale W. Deubner
Age 88, of Zoar, passed away Wed. morning in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Greenville, OH, a son of the late Robert and Glyda (Walker) Deubner, and had been a Zoar resident since 1952, previously residing in Mineral City from 1936-1952. Gale was the owner-operator of Deuber Excavating Co. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Preceded in death by a son, Craig Deubner, on Oct. 18, 2011. Survived by his wife, Helen I. Deubner, with whom he celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on April 7, 2012; one daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Gary Rothacher, of Stonecreek; one son, Joe Deubner, of New Cumberland; one sister, Betty Adams, of Mineral City; one brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Beverly Deubner, of Mineral City; a step-sister, Wanda Fiddler, of Sandyville; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Sat. at 2 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Richard L. Harvey officiating. Interment in Zoar Cemetery.
