FRENCH E. CROSTON,

Age 88, of Canton, passed away Thur., Dec. 17, 2020.  Born Nov. 30, 1932, in Philippi, WV, a son of the late Everett and Deamie Croston.  He was a member of Laborers Union Local #1015, which he also served as Business Agent for eight years.  Preceded in death by his wife, Edith Croston, in 2012, three sisters and three brothers.  Survived by one daughter, Vicki Spencer; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg (Yvonne) Croston, and Kenneth (Pam) Heacox; eight grandchildren Zachary, Stephanie, Angela, Stacey, Veronica, Kurtis, Kevin, and Kyle; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Rick Croston.  A private service will be held Tues. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in French's memory may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, 733 Third Ave, Suite 510, New York, New York, 10017.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
