Obituary

Frank H. Kolleth Age 70, of Canton, passed away Saturday afternoon in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born in Jamul-Mare, Romania, a son of the late Phillip and Maria (Stepp) Kolleth, and had been a Canton resident since 1954. Frank was a 1961 graduate of Timken High School, and retired in 2002 from Ohio Cast Products, after 35 years' service, where he was a millwright. He was a member of Christ the Servant Parish, and had been a member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton. Frank was an avid bowler, and had bowled a 300 game on Jan. 24, 1981 at Classic Bowl. He served in the U. S. Army from 1961-63. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Kolleth, Jr. Survived by two daughters, Sharon Shoenfelt and Susan Kolleth, both of East Sparta; one son, Frank Kolleth II, of Canton; two granddaughters, Stacey Nelson and Maria Groom, and three great-grandchildren, Natalia, Cameron, and Nicolas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Hank and Vera Kolleth, of Orrville, and Joe and Andrea Kolleth, of Tallmadge, OH; a sister-in-law, Erika Kolleth, of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may meet at Christ the Servant Parish on Wed. from 10:30-11:30 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Edward Stafford as Celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery following cremation. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank' s memory may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
