Florence M. Myers,

Age 88, of Canton, passed away Thur., Jan. 23, 2025.  She was born July 6, 1936, in Blaine, KY, the middle daughter of five daughters of the late Pleas and Sylvia (Lyons) Fyffe.  Florence was a 1954 graduate of East Portsmouth High School and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Pete" Myers, on May 7, 2008, and her daughter, Angela Myers.  Survived by one daughter, Jeanne Swaino; one son, C. Thomas Myers; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Stefanie Cantrell, Nicole Cantrell, and her children, Drako and Rowan Summers, Matthew (Jacklynn) Cantrell, and their children, Joslynn and Yvaine, and twins Thomas Myers and Anneliese Myers.

Services will be held Wed., Feb. 5th at 12 noon in Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour before the service, from 11am to 12 noon, in the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
