Flora E. "Shortie" (Motz) Dobransky,

Age 82, of Waynesburg, passed away on July 22, 2025.  Shortie was born June 18, 1943, in New Matamoras, OH.  She was 1 of 12 children born to Ralph and Mary (Early) Motz, who preceded her in death along with seven brothers and three sisters.  Surviving her is her sister, Ruth Craig.  Shortie also leaves behind her two sons, David (Jennifer) Dobransky, and Daniel (Julie) Dobransky; her daughter, Jodi (Antoine) Campbell; twelve grandchildren, Casey, Ali, DJ, Tori, Kelly, Kiara, Maddie, Anna, AJ, Tysen, Tyah and Jace.  Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe.  Shortie was fiercely devoted to her family.  She was a true example of unwavering strength and perseverance.  Shortie was known for her feisty personality.  She had a way of speaking her mind, standing her ground, and making people laugh- often all at once.  She loved to play a good game of euchre, and could often be found at garage sales or thrift stores, always on the hunt for a hidden treasure or a good bargain.  Her family will gather to celebrate her life on Mon., July 28, at 11 am in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia, with calling hours from 10-11 am., and invite all who knew and loved her to attend.  Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
