Faye E. Sacco
Age 90, of North Canton, went to be with the Lord and her loving husband on Sat., Nov. 1, 2014. She was born in Mineral City, OH, a daughter of the late Thomas and Goldie (Bremer) Jones, and had been a resident of the Canton area since 1969. She was a 1942 graduate of Mineral City High School. In her earlier years she was a member of Mineral City United Methodist Church, and now is a member of Grace United Methodist Church in North Canton where she taught Sunday school and Bible school, also belonged to the Amazing Grace Seniors, where at monthly meetings she addressed cards for shut-ins and did the devotions. Faye also served as Treasurer of the group. She also was a member of the United Methodist Women, helping with the yearly Rummage Sales. Faye was a Red Hat Lady and enjoyed helping her daughter at North Canton Playhouse with sewing costumes. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Thomas W. Sacco, on March 27, 1994, a grandson, Dirk Scott, a great-grandson, Mark Hackworth, and a brother, Thomas E. Jones. Survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Gale and Joe Spatafore, of North Canton, Peggy and Charles Bungard, of Canton, Doris and David Scott, of Magnolia, and Debby and Jerry Olson, of Massillon; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Irene Sacco, of North Canton; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; also her cousins, Jean Handy, of Sandyville, and Adair Locker, of Massillon. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Don Richards officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.
